Kiwifotos Lens Mount Adapter: Allows M42 Screw Mount Lenses (Pentax, Praktica, Mamiya, Zeiss and Zenit) to be used on any Sony E-Mount Body – NEX-3, NEX-5.

Precision made of black anodized aluminium the Kiwifotos LMA-M42_EM lens mount adapter allows you to mount M42x1mm screw mount lenses (Zeiss, Pentax screw mount, Praktica, Mamiya and Zenit) on a Sony E-Mount camera body.

As there is no electronic communication between the M42 screw mount lens and the Sony E-mount camera body, and you must therefore use manual focus as auto focus will not operate. Use the lens in the fully manual exposure mode (M), or in the aperture priority (A) mode and use MF assist function to pick 7x or 14x magnification to focus accurately. Turn on ‘shoot without lens’ to use MF lenses with adapters.
