Blackmagic DeckLink Quad 2 adalah kartu PCIe dengan 8 jalur yang dilengkapi delapan konektor SD/HD/3G-SDI DIN (Mini-BNC) bidirectional 12-bit. Setiap konektor dapat dikonfigurasi secara independen untuk menangani kombinasi hingga delapan channel capture atau playback dengan resolusi maksimal 1080p60. Kartu ini mendukung format video terkompresi seperti ProRes dan DNxHD, serta video uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2 dan 4:4:4. Hal ini menjadikannya ideal digunakan baik untuk live broadcast maupun post-production. Quad 2 kompatibel dengan komputer Mac, Windows, dan Linux, serta didukung oleh berbagai aplikasi software populer. Untuk aplikasi yang tidak memiliki fitur capture video, tersedia software Blackmagic Media Express yang memungkinkan kamu untuk capture, mengatur, dan mengelola media dengan mudah.

Setiap input dan output SDI dapat menggunakan standar video yang berbeda karena semuanya bekerja secara independen.
