Fujifilm Instax Square SQ40 ini memiliki tampilan retro sambil menghasilkan cetakan persegi 2,4 x 2,4″ yang sama yang kita sukai. Kamera ini dilengkapi dengan lensa Fujinon 65.75mm f/12.6 untuk pengendalian fokus zona yang intuitif dan jarak fokus minimum sebesar 11,8″. Sebuah cermin selfie kecil dibangun ke dalam desain lensa bagian depan untuk mengkomposisikan potret diri dengan akurat dan Mode Selfie khusus dapat digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan fokus dan eksposur. Kamera ini juga dilengkapi dengan bidikan optik untuk mengkomposisikan gambar dengan akurat.
