Stabil, cepat, serbaguna, dan ringkas, Sony A6400 Kit 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS adalah kamera mirrorless format APS-C yang mengadopsi banyak fitur yang biasanya disediakan untuk jajaran full-frame mereka. Termasuk akuisisi fokus otomatis 0.02 detik, Real-time Eye AF dan kemampuan Real-time Tracking, pemotretan kecepatan tinggi hingga 11 fps dan pemotretan silent hingga 8 fps, keduanya dengan AF/AE tracking, BIONZ X image processing engine yang ditingkatkan, layar sentuh LCD 180° yang sepenuhnya dapat dimiringkan, perekaman film UHD 4K dengan pembacaan piksel penuh dan tidak ada penghilangan piksel, perekaman internal untuk video time-lapse, dan banyak lagi.
