Sony DSC-H300 Cyber-shot Digital Camera merupakan kamera point and shoot yang memiliki fitur 20.1 MP 1/2.3″ Super HAD CCD image sensor yang dapat menghasilkan citra beresolusi tinggi dan video HD 720p. Sensor ini diuntungkan dengan inclusion 35x lensa optical zoom yang panjang, memberikan rentang panjang fokus 35mm setara dengan 25-875mm.Untuk pengambilan gambar dalam kondisi low-light dan saat bekerja pada perbesaran zoom yang lebih besar, stabilisasi gambar Optical SteadyShot juga sudah built-in yang nantinya dapat berfungsi untuk mengatasi efek kamera goyang (shake).

Sony DSC-H300 ini juga digunakan untuk monitoring dan playback images, serta menavigasi sistem menu, 3.0″ 461k-dot Clear Photo LCD dan menawarkan lima brightness step untuk membantu anda melihat dalam kondisi terang. Ada juga sejumlah efek kamera untuk yang mendukung jepretan foto anda seperti Beauty Effects, Face Detection, 360° Sweep Panorama dan iAuto mode. Selain itu, H300 juga dapat bekerja dengan menggunakan 4 baterai AA.
