Nikon D500 Kit 16-80mm sebagai model andalan dalam lini DSLR, D500 dicirikan oleh konstruksi fisiknya yang kokoh, kemampuan pencitraan yang tepat, dan tentu saja, faktor bentuk yang lebih ringkas dan ramping daripada rekan-rekan FX-nya. Berputar di sekitar 20.9MP CMOS sensor dan EXPEED 5 image processor, kamera ini menarik baik untuk still dan video shooter dengan kecepatan 10 fps continuous shooting rate yang cepat dan kemampuan perekaman video 4K UHD.
