The Canon PowerShot SX700 HS Digital Camera is a compact point-and-shoot camera featuring a 16.1 megapixel CMOS sensor with the DIGIC 6 image processor to create the Canon HS SYSTEM. This allows you to capture high quality images and video even in low-light conditions. The camera’s 30x optical zoom lens has a 35mm equivalent focal length of 25-750mm to provide a versatile shooting solution for many conditions.

On the back of the camera is a 3.0″ LCD screen, where you can access all of your settings and creative modes, as well as preview and review photos and full HD 1080p video. Video recording can be done quickly with the use of a dedicated movie button. A dedicated Mobile Device Connect button allows you to connect to your compatible iOS or Android device right away for easily sharing your images.

The SX700 features Wi-Fi and Near Field Communication connectivity for transferring images to a computer or mobile device. This also allows you to shoot remotely using a smartphone or tablet. A Creative Shot mode changes the color and lighting of your image for more artistically unique images, and Smart AUTO mode chooses the proper settings from 58 pre-defined situations. There is also a Hybrid Auto mode that records video clips before a still image and compiles them together to create a highlight reel.

16.1 MP CMOS Sensor and DIGIC 6 Image Processor

The 16.1 megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC 6 image processor work in concert to produce high resolution still imagery and full HD 1080p video recording with notable low-light sensitivity and quality. The combination of these two technologies creates the Canon HS SYSTEM which provides a high sensitivity to light and reduces noise in the image. The processor also contributes to the overall speed of the camera, leading to very responsive shooting, autofocus, and menus.

30x Optical Zoom Lens

The 30x optical zoom lens provides a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 25-750mm. This wide-angle to super-telephoto perspective makes this a useful camera in a large variety of situations.

Zoom Framing Assist

Zoom Framing Assist provides automatic tracking, allowing you to easily reframe long-zoom shots without losing track of your subject. You can also keep your subject’s face the same size in your frame as they move nearer or farther from your lens.

Built-In Wireless Connectivity

Built-in Wi-Fi and Near Field Communication (NFC) allows you to quickly connect with computers and mobile devices. This setting allows for the easy transfer of images to compatible devices, social networking sites, and computers. Wireless connectivity makes moving images simple and immediate.

Conserves power and provides more shots per charge through LCD and camera power management.
