SmallRig Cage for Sony FX30 / FX3 4138 is designed to protect camera and provide accessory mounting points. The modular cage consists of a NATO rail and a U-shaped cage. The NATO rail is secured on the top via two 1/4″-20 screws and removed to allow installing the original XLR top handle; the U-shaped cage is fixed via 1/4″-20 screws on both sides and at the bottom to prevent twisting, with a cushion against scratches. At the battery door there is a hinge arm that fits camera curve for improved grip experience for little finger. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects interfaces to ensure stable signal transmission. Among its varied accessory mounts, 1/4″-20 holes support Magic Arm 2070; ARRI 3/8″-16 locating holes connect Top Handle 2165C or Monitor Mount 2903B; the top NATO rail supports Top Handle 3322, and the left one, Side Handle 2187B; 1/4″-20 locating holes at the top-left quarter and on the left side attach Rod Clamp 3598 for follow focus; two 1/4″-20 holes on the right side allow being securely mounted onto a quick release plate for vertical shooting; the cold shoe mount supports microphone, LED light; and the QD port at the bottom fits QD strap. An Arca-Swiss quick release plate at the bottom can attach DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro directly or quick release plate (height increase pad) for DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 gimbal and Arca-Type Quick Release Plate 3154. Both sides and the bottom have holes for Hand Strap 3848 and Shoulder Strap PSC2428. A magnetic spanner is also included for easy assembly and disassembly.

Note:
1. Please note that the cage adds a grinding process to the frame edge for a distressed look, there are slight wear traces on the surface.
2. Please remove the top NATO rail before installing the original XLR handle.
3. Top 1/4″-20 holes have hole center distance of 27mm and are therefore incompatible with such accessories with hole center distance of 18mm as Monitor Mount 2904.
