Terdiri dari seperangkat kemampuan imaging yang serbaguna bersama dengan dukungan untuk alur kerja yang terhubung, Canon Rebel T6 EF-S 18-55mm IS dari Canon adalah DSLR ringkas dan ramping yang menampilkan sensor APS-C CMOS 18MP dan prosesor gambar DIGIC 4+. Jika digabungkan, kedua teknologi ini memanfaatkan kualitas gambar yang kaya dengan pengurangan noise, bersama dengan rentang sensitivitas native ISO 100-6400 yang dapat diperluas lebih lanjut ke ISO 12800 agar sesuai dengan kondisi pencahayaan yang rendah. Sensor dan prosesor juga memungkinkan kemampuan untuk memotret secara continuous pada 3 fps untuk memotret subjek yang bergerak, serta merekam video Full HD 1080p/30.
